OBITUARY:

Ines Tippett was born February 19, 1927 to the late Minerva Washington and the late Flamon Williams. She ascended to her heavenly home on February 24, 2021.

Ines was married to the late Shuman Tippett. She was a faithful member of Greater Nazareth Missionary Baptist Church, Tchula, MS; where she served on the mother board.

Ines enjoyed attending churches throughout the community. She also enjoyed sewing, gardening and spending time with family, friends and people in the community.

Ines also was preceded in death by siblings; Mary Green, L.V. Canady, Flamon Williams, Jr. and Joe Washington, Jr.

Ines leaves to cherish her memories: great niece(daughter); Redoma Miller, great-great nephew(grandson);Tyler Miller of Tchula, MS; whom she loved dearly. Siblings; Bertha Green and Lillie M. Hall of Chicago, IL; Annette Jefferson, Jackson, MS; Lorene (Alvin)Haymer, Tchula, MS; JB Washington, Tchula, MS; James(Tracey)Washington of North Carolina; Bryan(Ida) Washington, Tchula, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
