Obituary For Cleavon Hartzog

Mr. Cleavon Hartzog, 71, of Prentiss, Mississippi passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at his residence.

He is the son of the late Lonzo and Lucille Hartzog. He was a member of Green Grove Baptist Church.

Mr. Hartzog was a former laborer and brick mason in the Construction Industry. He loved watching football, gardening and spending time with family and friends.

Graveside services are scheduled for Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Golden Gate Cemetery, Prentiss, Mississippi at 12noon.

He is survived by: sons, Tracey Easterling of Bassfield, MS; Cleavon Hartzog, Jr. of Meridian, MS and Ferrin Hartzog of Prentiss, MS; daughters, Kimberly Gipson of Birmingham, AL; Tehera Allen of Prentiss, MS; brothers, Charlie c. Fairley of Prentiss, MS; John Fairley of Jackson, MS; sisters, Betty Price and Lucy Hartzog both of Prentiss, MS; Mary Barnes of Silver Creek, MS; Ruthie Fairley of Magee, MS; grandchildren: 9

Visitation will be Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Johnson Funeral Home, 1-5pm; family hour: 5-6pm.
