Our love and prayers are with you today. We're so sorry we are unable to be with you to honor the life of our dear Uncle Bill. He was truly a blessing to our family and we cherish all the wonderful memories. His smile, heart and love for Jesus will always be remembered. What do you say about somebody like Bill? He will be sorely missed! I remember how he used to go in the tavern and bring out a man who was drinking, take him home and let him sleep in the basement. The man wouldn't sleep upstairs because he was so humiliated. In years to come, grace brought this man to the ministry. I can't remember Bill saying an unkind word to anybody. Although I didn't get to visit with him much the last of his life, I will miss him so much! Love you all!

I vividly recall walking through Greeneville with Uncle Bill as he made his "rounds" to check on all the people he talked to every day to encourage them and tell them about how much Jesus loved them all. When he shared that smile, it warmed my soul. He touched many with his kindness. I know he battled and suffered much on this earth, so I'm blessed to know he is truly home. Though we can't be with you at this time, know that are hearts are! Love you all!! Vonya
