Survivors include: wife, Beverly Edwards Sampson; children; Shavonda (Christopher) Paul, Takeela (Thelron) Pleas and Rex Brannon Sampson; seven grandchildren; siblings; Milton (Trudy) Sampson, Grady Sampson, Myrtice (Toby) Hoskins, Wayne Sampson, Herman (Stephanie) Sampson and Valerie (Kenneth) Oates.
