Reverend Gloria Joanne Jackson Peeler was born March 25, 1956 to Joe Dewberry and the late Lynn Ann Jackson Wright. She departed this life on February 24, 2021. She was a faithful member of St. Luke Holiness Church of Forest City, NC. Gloria was employed by Florence Mills of Avondale, NC and she worked as a C. N. A. for several years. She attended Chase High School. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lynn Ann Jackson Wright and one brother, Ronnie Dewberry. Gloria leaves to cherish her memories; one son, Clark O. Peeler Jr. (Kimberly), one daughter, Keisha Dover (Calvin Dover), six grandchildren, Lakela Peeler, Clarissa Peeler, Uriah Dover, Chariah Dover, William Peeler and Kalviana Dover, three step grandchildren, Damarius Ponder, Shania Dover, Courtney Jackson, her father, Joe Dewberry (Hattie), her siblings, Karen Jackson, Anthony Jackson (Shanta), Gezisle Watkins (Rafeal), Charlotte Dewberry, Joe Dewberry (Renee), Carolyn Bratton, Thomas Dewberry, Jacob Dewberry, Maurice McDowell (Gloria), special friends, Linda Hamilton, Jean McSwain, Gladys Miller, Shemel Wilkie and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
