Obituary For Arthuree Deloach

~MY LIFE'S STORY~

On, Monday Morning March 1, 2021, Arthuree Deloach entered in eternal rest in Aiken, South Carolina.

Arthuree was born December 5, 1942, in Allendale County to the late Deacon Edgar and Willise Young of Barton, South Carolina. Arthuree received her education at C. B. Byrd High School in Fairfax, South Carolina.

In 1958, Arthuree met the love of her life Robert Lee Deloach Jr., who preceded her in death and to this union three children were born, Annette (Joyce), James(Bubba), and Calvin(Catman). Calvin also preceded her in death. Arthuree and Bobby moved from South Carolina to Brooklyn, New York where they resided for over fifty years.

At an early age, Arthuree joined St. James Missionary Baptist Church, Luray, South Carolina and was a devoted member until relocating to New York. She then became a member of Mt. Arat Baptist Church in New York, under the leadership of Rev. J. T. Reeder. In 2008, Arthuree retired and returned to her hometown Barton, South Carolina, where she became a member of Nazarene Baptist Church, Fairfax, South Carolina under the leadership of Rev. Terrance Thomas. She was also a member of Order of Eastern Star (OES), Ruth Chapter 225, Gifford, South Carolina.

She was employed by the City of New York as a Child Care Provider for thirty-five years. She adored and loved all the children she cared for in her home.

She loved going to church, shopping, cooking, listening to music and watching her tv crush "Steve Harvey" Family Feud. She also enjoyed participating in activities and traveling with the "Seniors in Action" Club out of South Carolina.

In addition, to her husband, parents and son, her devoted sister "Dot" preceded her in death at an early age. Arthuree will be forever missed by her family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memories, Her loving children Annette "Joyce" (James Sr.) Tillery, and James "Bubba" Deloach both of Philadelphia, PA. (6) Grandchildren, Anthony "Tweety", Patrick, Vere, Nazia, Andre and James Jr., (10) Great-grandchildren, (1) Uncle, Ellis Young, Cocoa Beach, Florida, (1) Aunt, Ella Mae Brown, New Have, CT, (1) brother-in-law, John Deloach (Deloris), Fairfax, SC, Idella Bynum (William), Atlanta, GA, Beloved nieces, Willa Jean Webb and Romaine Johnson both of Philadelphia, PA., Devoted cousins reared in home Harold and James "Foot" Brown both of Atlanta, GA. (2) beloved Best Friends, Edna Best, Fairfax, SC and Mary Carter, Rocky Mountain, NC. A special "Call of Duty" Cousin, Carl Young, Barton, SC. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
