Obituary For Lucious "LH" Harvey Cates

Mr. Lucious “LH” Harvey Cates, 60, departed this life on Sunday, February 28, 2021.

Graveside service will be held at Lipscomb Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Hillsborough, NC on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 1:00 pm. Viewing will be held inside the church from 12:00 to 1:00 pm.

Masks are to be worn and social distancing required at all meetings, visits and services. All acts of kindness are appreciated during this difficult time.

Flowers will not be accepted on behalf of the family at Holloway Memorial Funeral Home. The family will advise you where to send flowers.

My heart felt condolences to the family. LH had a heart of gold willing to help anybody. He loved his family and most of all being a Deacon at Lipscomb Grove he really love that role. I'm going to miss hearing him say ahh shout your mouth I'd get a good laugh out of that. He was a good on the go mechanic he stood behind his work. You fought a good fight LH but God only takes the best we're going to miss you down here but you'll have plenty work to do up yonder
