Marilyn feared the Lord. The bible says in Proverbs 31:30. "Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised". Fearing God is foundational to all Christian living. The God-fearing woman approaches her Lord with reverence and awe. She clings tightly to her Savior. She realizes the futility and waywardness of her own fleshly pursuits, but knows there is strong confidence in God, her Rock. She delights in meeting His approval and fears the way of sin. She rests in the shadow of His wings, depending on Him for guidance, strength, and perseverance. She fears independence from God. She trusts God. She yields to her Lord, and His design for womanhood asking Him to reign in her mortal body where He might use her for His greatest glory. The puritan Matthew Henry said, Proverbs 31 is the mirror against which every Christian woman must stand and face herself. There is no doubt that Marilyn was that type of woman. A woman that only God could produce. This is the ideal every woman should desire to be. Marilyn's transition has been difficult, yet one thing I know for sure is that she is safe in the arms of the Lord. As a Christian I am not grieving as those who have no hope, yet still the loss of my dear love one is painful. The bible says in Hebrews 4:15, "For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are--yet he did not sin." I have every confidence that we will be reunited with our beautiful beloved sister Marilyn who has gone to Heaven before us. Heaven is a place of perfect happiness—and one of its greatest joys will be our reunion with those we love. God loves us, and He will not withhold that joy from us! Rest well my precious sister-in-law until we meet again. Love Curtis and Pamela Robinson ❤
