It is with heavy hearts that Harrington Funeral Home Inc., along side the Johnson Family announce that: A Husband, A Father, A Friend, everyone’s favorite preaching machine, Bishop Alphonso “Good Time” Johnson, went home to be with the Lord.

The Johnson Family accept his decision to go as he got a glimpse of the glory that he preached about, on Monday March 1, 2021. For he, fought the good fight of Faith and laid hold on eternal life.

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. (2 Corinthians 5:1)

Home Going Celebration Services will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the sanctuary of The Crossing Jordan Baptist Church - 1401 Cypress Street, Valdosta, GA.

*Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we will adhere to all CDC guidelines. Mask MUST be worn to enter the facility during visitation, as well as Celebration of Life Services.

Final Care and Compassionate Services are being expressed to the Johnson and connected families with love, care and uncompromising dignity by Harrington Funeral Home Inc.
