Obituary For Dr. Anthony J. White

Dr. Anthony J. White, age 80, of Athens, GA passed February 28, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 11, 2021 at the Mausoleums of Barrow Memorial Gardens, 793 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, GA 30680. Public viewing, Wednesday, 1-6 PM at the funeral home.

Survivors include: wife, Nelia White; son, Captain Anthony J. White and daughter-in-law, Master Sergeant Keisha White; grandchildren, Anthony J. White III, Iyanah Egypt White, Rain Dasher and Lakreshia Jacobs.

My husband Tom and I first met Dr. White at Little League baseball where we both served on the Board. His son also played ball with our son Doug. Dr. White was a compassionate, caring gentleman. He went out of way to serve others and to serve God. Years later, I had the privilege of teaching his grandson, Anthony. Dr. White was simply an amazing grandfather. He loved his family and was exceptionally dedicated and supportive. He will be dearly missed. Tom and Peggy Reigle
