IOTA - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Progressive Baptist Church in Iota, LA for Mr. James Terry Hopkins, 50, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Acadia General Hospital in Crowley, LA.

Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Rev. E.J. Joseph, Pastor of Progressive Baptist Church, will be officiating the funeral service.

Mr. Hopkins leaves to cherish his memories: his partner, Pamela Spencer of Iota, LA; four sons, Khristopher (Lucero) of Oregon, Triston Hopkins, Kelvin Hopkins and Kye Spencer, all of Iota, LA; two brothers, Freedie Lee Polk of California and Hulon Polk of Texas; three sisters, Alfreda Polk, Inesta Hart and Cassandra Hopkins, all of Texas; three Godchildren, Dominiqua Thomas of Iota, LA, Kaylane Washington of Eunice, LA and Harper Gatte of Gottes Cove; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by: his parents, James and Mae Patteon Hopkins and one sister, Althea Hopkins.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Progressive Baptist Church.
