Obituary For Helen Rainey Coffee

Helen Rainey Coffee was born on January 8, 1932 in Halifax County, North Carolina to Elnora Pierce and was raised in Newport News by Lee and Virgie Rainey. At one o’clock on the morning of February 26, 2021, God called her home.

She leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her living through her children Geraldine (Felix) Wilson, Douglas Coffee (Rebecca Jackson), Wayne (Lisa) Coffee and April Coffee, a host of siblings, grandchildren, Randy (Freda) McLemore, Eric (Krystal) Wilson, Mark Wilson, Kevin (Victoria), Latoya (Ronald) Floyd, Angela Coffee, William D. Coffee, Jr., Kanesha Coffee, Jennifer Esmon, Lynneshia Coffee, Wayne Coffee, Jr. (Sheridan), Allen Prince, a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Coffee will lie in state Friday, March 5, 2021 from 12 until 3 at the funeral home.

Visitation with family Friday, March 5, 2021 from 5 until 7 at Cummins Street Church of Christ, 511 Cummins Street, Franklin, TN.

Private family service at a later date.
