Tommy Lee “Ice Man” Hyman was born May 12, 1963, the son of the late James and Minnie Black Hyman. He departed his life on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence, South Carolina.

He was educated at Wilson High School and was a member of the Class of 1982. He was a member of the Wilson Tigers Marching Band and track team.

Tommy was a “die hard” Wilson Tiger fan and Alumni, known for his “Booyah” at each touch down score. He traveled with his brother, Roy to all the home games and most away games. Tommy’s personality radiated everywhere he was.

He was proceeded in death by his parents; a sister, Mildred Hyman; and a brother, James Hyman.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Tommisha L. Hyman of Darlington, South Carolina; a son, Tommy L. Hyman, Jr.; a granddaughter, Tamia Graham; a sister, Betty (Joseph) Wilson of Florence, South Carolina; a brother, Roy (Janet) Hyman of Florence, South Carolina; seven nieces, Karen, Gabrielle, Cherity, Royietta, Joquetta, Yasmeen, and Jalisa, five nephews, Roy Jr., Stanley, Chiko, Reginald, Joseph Jr.; and a host of other family members and friends.
