Obituary For Alonzo Odom

Alonzo Odom age 67 of Vale, North Carolina transitioned on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Atrium Health-Lincolnton. He was born in Lincoln County, North Carolina on January 28, 1954 to the late Harper Odom and Almeta Smith Odom Tinsley.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in White’s Family Chapel with burial to follow in Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Church. There will be a public walkthrough on Monday at the Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.

Due to Covid-19 masks are required for all services.

Uncle Alonzo Odom, My family and I are still in disbelief as we challenge ourselves through this sad time. We know our Father up above was ready for you to come home, which is a bitter sweet moment for myself as I will always remember as a child seeing you make the best garden ever, giving all your nieces and nephews nick names, playing your lovely guitars, amazed by old cars, staying clean, lovely hats and didn't mind speaking your mind, but on the back end of that it is bitter to know you want be with us anymore!
