Obituary For Mr. Willie Kaye Bethea

Deacon Willie Kaye Bethea was born to the late Thurston and Lillie Bethea on December 18, 1963 entered peacefully into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 3, 2021 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, South Carolina.

Willie received his formal education in the Dillon County Public Schools and attended Latta High School in Latta, South Carolina. He worked at Harbor Freight Tools for fifteen years until his health began to decline.

On September 28, 2002, he was united in holy matrimony to Doris German. Willie was a faithful servant of Fresh Beginnings Christian Center; he was a faithful servant, a deacon, Pastor’s Aide, an usher, and Brotherhood Ministries.

Willie was preceded in death along with his parents; one sister: Emma Bethea and a brother: Leno Bethea.

Willie leaves to cherish his memories ~ a loving wife of nineteen years: Minister Doris German Bethea; two sons: Darius Douglas of the home and Tyrek Cabbagestalk of Dillon, SC; two brothers: Charles {Margaret} Bethea of Dillon, SC and Thomas Bethea of Greenville, SC; two sisters: Lucille {Alphonso} Owens and Annie {James} Manning both of Dillon, SC; three sisters-n-law: Gloria {Walter} Thompson, Mary Alford, and Linda {Ronald} McGeechan all of Dillon, SC; sister-n-law: Margaret Bethea of Lumberton, NC; brother-n-law: James {Annie} German of Dillon, SC; two special friends: Otis Cousar and Johnny Tyson; his spiritual god-parents: Bishop Empie and Mother Armatha Floyd and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
