It was with deepest sorrow that Lavender’s Funeral Service announced the passing of MR. MAVERICK JOSEPH McKINSTRY, 57 of Columbus, Mississippi on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

PUBLIC VISITATION for Mr. Maverick Joseph McKinstry was Friday, March 12, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Lavender's Funeral Service.

THE HOME GOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY OF Mr. Maverick Joseph McKinstry of Columbus, Mississippi was held on Saturday, March 13, 2021, 12:00 Noon at Spirit & Truth Pentecostal Church, 2717 MLK Road in Aliceville, Alabama. The body of Mr. McKinstry was in state in the church one hour prior to the service.

INTERMENT was in Bethany Town Cemetery, also in Aliceville, Alabama. Apostle Jeffrey Ball, Sr. is The Pastor of Spirit & Truth Pentecostal Church. Reverend Christopher Washington, Pastor of Genesis Fellowship Ministry in Gordo, Alabama was The Eulogist.
