Obituary For Carter Santoine Mebane

Carter Santoine Mebane, 4 months old, of Swanson St., Martinsville, VA, departed this life on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 5, 2020 in Virginia, the son of Antoine Mebane and Tyrell Moore.

Carter leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Antoine Mebane and Tyrell Moore of Martinsville, VA; two sister, Aniya Mebane of Cotton Valley, LA and Carmen Mebane of Martinsville, VA; two brothers, Mardricus' Smith of Cotton Valley, LA, and Cameron Moore of Martinsville, VA; Maternal Grandparents, Mellissa Moore of Martinsville, VA, and Anthony Martin of Axton, VA; Paternal Grandparents, Andrea Hardy of Cotton Valley, LA, and Fredrick Mebane of Fayetteville, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 12 Noon at the Grant Family Cemetery, Axton, VA. A public viewing will be held Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Hairston Funeral Home between the hours of 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. In accordance with the CDC, a face covering, and social distancing is required.
