Betty Florence Johnson, age 79, passed away on Sunday March 7, 2021 at home. She was the daughter of James (Bama) and Pearl Jones.

Preceding her in death, her parents and three children Timothy L., Gary W., and Melissa Y. Johnson; her siblings Janet Jones, Emma Jones, and James Morris Jones.

Betty graduated from Lincoln Co High School. She was a devoted member of Allen Chapel Church in Moreland, Kentucky and attended the 2nd Street Christian Church in Danville, Kentucky.

She was formally employed at Genesco, Golden Living Center, and Striped Tobacco. Betty enjoyed spending time and taking care of her grandchildren.

Betty leaves to cherish her legacy her devoted daughter, Sharon Johnson; two devoted granddaughters, Fallon Johnson, and Natassia (Timothy) Johnson; great grandchildren Bryce Johnson, Samari Woods, Kennadi Johnson, Jayce Johnson, Genesis Sam, and Malijah Faulkner; siblings Dallas Fitzgerald, William (Barbara) Jones, Linda (Charles) Coulter; host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and cousins; special family that she was close to Nancy Coulter, Djkarta Johnson, Kevin Jones, and Rita Jones; special friends that helped care for her during her illness Carol & Shakeela Cloud, LaDonna Ball and Thank you to the Kindred nurses and Hospice.
