Obituary For Mr. Chester Reeves

”Daddy,” Reeves,” “10-4,” formally known as Mr. Chester Reeves began his vibrant life on January 22, 1961, in Thomaston, Upson County, Georgia to Mr. Bobby Mullins and Ms. Josephine Reeves. Chester attended school in Yatesville, Upson County, Georgia where he was raised by his grandfather, Mr. Malcom Reeves, and often attended church together. Both parents and grandparents preceded him in death. Early in life, Chester developed a love for working. His first job was working at Mr. Horace Boyt’s Mini- Mart Gas Station as a teenager. He later grew into masonry work starting at Raglin’s Masonry with the late Mr. James Raglin. Chester then transitioned to working at Robinson’s Masonry with the late Mr. Leonard Robinson, where he most recently continued working with his friend and Mr. Leonard ‘s brother, Mr. Shawn Robinson at D & K Masonry. Beyond his grand work ethic, Chester had a host of talents and hobbies. Fixing on cars, yard work, building, and being that go-to handyman was a part of his routine. But firstly, he had a love for helping others, simply making sure to put a smile on your face from his contagious smile. Chester’s smile was life and he had a way of lifting others’ spirits through his wisdom and love of dancing and joking. To have know “Daddy Reeves,” “Fat Daddy,” “10-4”, formally known as Mr. Chester Reeves is to know he never met a stranger. Sister, Mrs. Celless Warner-King, and brother Mr. Avan Smith of Chester preceded him in death. On the day of February 26, 2021, he was summoned to eternal rest. He set out on his journey in his favorite ride, now lighting the heavens with his smile.
