Delores Ann (Hill) Bowman Obituary

Delores affectionately known to family and friends as Lonnie received her wings and quietly left this earth on Saturday February 27, 2021 at Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, NY She was born in Harlem, New York on February 17, 1936 to the late Charles and Gertrude Hill. She was the 2nd of seven children her death is proceeded by two sisters Barbara and Alene and two brothers Charles Jr. and Carl. Delores was educated in he NYC Public School systems, attending P.S. 119, J.H.S. 136 and Central Commercial H.S. Delores worked for N.Y.C. Dept. of Traffic and to retire from U.S. Dept. of Immigration and Naturalization. Delores met her husband Paul Bowmen in 1976 and married in 1978, of that Union there were no children. She left to mourn her Is her husband Paul Bowman, her two sisters, Daisy and Charlotte, Mother-in-Law Lizzie Mae Williams, sister-in-law Celestine Paylor along with a host of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Delores was a hard worker, she always spoke what was on her mind, liked to crochet, listen to music and she loves shopping. Although she didn’t have children Delores was always a loving aunt. She also loved her German Shepherd, King. Auntie Delores had a loving nature, always ready to help you with any situation at a moments notice. Petite and beautiful she was, she will be missed by all.
