So many memories, choir programs, bowling and all day making tamales. My mom (Yuvon Fields) and Alice were best of friends. I'm pretty sure it was Big Benny and Alice that introduced my mom and dad (Charlie Fields) to LasVegas NV, the fun they had and the memories they made and the stories they told! lake trips, playing cards and square dancing too.remember lots and lots of fun and laughter! rip Alice we love you! Hugs to you Big Benny, you will be in my prayers!

I am very saddened to hear of Alicia's passing. She was my first cousin. Her Dad and my Dad were brothers. May God bless all the family during this difficult time. I will not be able to attend the funeral due to the pandemic. I will be getting my first Covid-19 vaccine tomorrow (Mar 11). When we were growing up, Tia Santitos made most of Alicia's clothes, and many were passed on to me. They were beautiful clothes. Also, Alicia and I (I would drive her car) from Kenedy to San Antonio to shop for her girls' clothes (Yvonne & Deborah). When Alicia and Bennie were dating, they would come to our house in Kenedy to play cards with my Mom and Dad (Jesus & Nicha de la Garza). It was fun to watch. I am 10 years younger. I have many fond memories of Alicia and Bennie. They are very special to me. Please keep an eye on Bennie during this difficult time. May God give him the strength to deal with the pain, and receive comfort & healing. Love you all. Stay strong. Elsie de la Garza Gonzales P.S. With our deepest condolences, I ordered a basket of flowers in her honor.
