Obituary For Geneva McKinnon

Geneva McKinnon, 69, of Harrisburg, transitioned into eternal life on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 in the peace and love of her home.

She was born in Bronx, NY, daughter of the late Hearley, Sr. and Carrie (Green) McKinnon and retired from New Cumberland Army Depot.

Geneva leaves to celebrate her life; her daughter, Tawana McKinnon; her son, Michael McKinnon, Sr.; her sisters, Vernell McKinnon and Karen Lipsett; her brothers, Raymond McKinnon and Michael Wayne McKinnon; her nine grandchildren; her 13 great grands and a host of other relatives and friends.

Her life will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 16 in the Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton with Visitation from 12 Noon until 1:00 p.m.

COVID-19 Guidelines will be observed with face masks and social distancing for all attendees.

Tawanna I remember the first time I met you you were talking about your Mom you was telling a story and I said anyone that acts like that got a country name like Ms Geneva you laughed I said why you laughing you said because thats my moms name we been friends ever since your moms was the laughs she will be missed God gives us the gift of mothers to provide us nurturing, comfort, and support.
