Calvin "Dink" Bedinger, Jr. Age 86, passed Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky. He was born on October 5, 1934 in Danville Kentucky to the late Calvin Bedinger and Malvena Barnes Bedinger.

He is preceded death by his daughter Yvette Bedinger Spalding.

Calvin graduated from Bate High School in 1951 and Kentucky Business College. Calvin accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at First Baptist Church of Danville in 1946 (75 years) and several years later another blessing was bestowed upon him when united in marriage to Mary Neal on June 11, 1953.

Calvin made the decision to serve our Country in the United States Army and later switched to Reserves (August 1, 1956 until May 14, 1982). While serving his country he became a Chef. Calvin worked at Kentucky State Hospital for ten plus years and Whirlpool for twenty plus years and retired in 2006.

Calvin enjoyed being a member of the Male Chorus and a Deacon of the Church. Calvin was an avid Louisville Basketball/Football and love to see the Danville High School Admirals. He loved his family and had a good sense of humor.

He leaves to cherish his memory his Wife, Mary Bedinger, two Sons Jerry (Mary) Bedinger and Eric (Veronica) Bedinger; one Sister Sharon (Alonzo) McGuire; Sister-in-law Agnes Bartleson; Brother-in-law Roy Neal Jr. Son -in-law Robert Spalding; nine Grandchildren Erica (Darryl) Steward, Braxton Adams, Mickayla Bedinger, Dailyn and D’Asya Spalding, Krystal Bell, Derrick Penman, Teron Barnes and Jerrold Burress and seven Great Grandchildren, Special Friend Steve & Cindy Mitchell and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
