John was born in Newark, NJ on October 22, 1952 to Arthur and Barbara Harden. On Thursday, March 18, 2021, John went home to be the his Lord and his loved ones who have proceeded him. He spent his childhood growing up in Newark, NJ, where he met and married Cathy Mobley and they had one daughter. John leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Barbara Harden; his daughter, Tequila Harden-Brooks; tow sisters, Patricia Harden and Carolyn Harden; four brothers, Arthur Jr., Dale, Allen, and Richard Harden; four sisters-in-law, Darlene Harden (Allen), Carolyn M. Harden (Arthur Jr.), Deborah Harden (Richard), and Barbara Harden (Dale); granddaughter, Tanaeyah Ford; grandson, Shamarr Brooks; five nieces, Keysha Spencer, Keera Harden, Shavon Harden, Jasmine Harden and Taliah Clark; two nephews, Maurice A. Harden and Taquan Clark; host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 24 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E.
