In Loving Memory Of Johnny Burden

Johnny Ray Burden, the son of the later Virginia and Josh Burden. He was born on April 12, 1943 in Bladen County, N.C. and departed his life in Fieldstone Lodge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on February 7, 2021. He was a quiet person but yet a caring person with a gentle heart. He also was care free person, the was not afraid of danger; He was a Paratrooper in the U.S. army and also served in the Vietnam war. He was a hard-worker and retired from the New York from the New York Telephone Company. He loved to attend church, and served at various churches. Johnny loved one left to cherish his memory: one daughter, Justine Burden, one son Johnny Burden Jr., he was a father figure to Sheena & Sharna Hudson. Two sisters: Bonnie McKoy, Treva Burden, two brothers: Alford Burden, Thurman Burden, one sister Lois Burdon, one brother Gilbert Shipman who preceded him in death; his step-mother who also preceded him. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who are left to cherish his memory.
