In Loving Memory of Bertha Sparrock

Bertha Mae Allen Sparrock was born on May 11, 1929 in Ellenton, South Carolina. She was one of eight children, born to the late Paul and Rosa Allen. Bertha relocated from South Carolina to Harlem, New York. From Harlem she moved to the Lower East Side of Manhattan, where she met Phillip. She and Phillip Sparrock blended their families in October of 1965. He preceded her in death in 2013. As a devout Christian, she made sure that her children understood the importance of having a relationship with Christ, the importance of studying God's word, the power of prayer and the need to fellowship. To cherish her memory, she leaves behind one sister, three daughters, two sons, a son-in law, two daughter-in laws, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
