Obituary For Anthony Tippins, Sr.

Graveside service for Anthony Ralph Tippins, Sr. 68, will be Saturday, March 20, at 1 pm at the Jenifer Cemetery with Bro. Marvin Jones, officiating. Mr. Tippins passed away on March 14, 2021 at Diversicare of Oxford. Mr. Tippins graduated from Calhoun County Training School in 1970. He was a member of the 16th and Noble Street Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife: Patricia A. Tippins; his children: Ashanti T (Torian) Koonce, Anthony (Julia) Tippins, Jr., Adrienne Tippins; grandchildren: Masquai, Genaya, Dawn, Cowan, Javion, Ja'Kary and Alani; siblings: Randy and Derek Tippins, Travis (Vivian) Foster, Mary (Alvin) Whatley, Janice Tippins, Judy (Lorenzo) Johnson, Ladricka (Michael) Weatherspoon, in-laws, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Mary Tippins, siblings, James and William Tippins, Linda Tippins Ingram.
