Eric Lamont Everett, 53, of Crescent St., Harrisburg, transitioned into eternal life on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg Hospital. He was born in Harrisburg, son of Alice Cleveland Hairston and the late James Smith Hairston, Sr., a graduate of the Harrisburg School District and was a cab driver. In addition to his father, Eric was preceded in transitioning to eternal life by his maternal grandmother, Helen Cleveland; his paternal grandparents, Mollie Jo Hairston and Desmond Hairston. He leaves to celebrate his life; his mother, Alice Hairston; his wife, Dionne “Kim” Everett; his children; his siblings, Cynthia Everett, Phyllis Everett, Angelique Everett, Jamie Hairston and James S. Hairston, Jr.; other family members and friends.
