I was so anticipating seeing you in Chicago in September. I can't believe you're gone. Fond memories abound daily as I wear your beautiful creation. You were a visionary artist full of style and grace. I'm thankful that our paths crossed and spirits connected. Rest in peace my friend ~ dkw

Dear Family, I remember Adrienne from our Hampton days with a smile on her face. A really "cool" dresser and I can still hear (she used her hands a lot when talking) and see those many bangles she used to wear on her arm. I wish I'd spent more time with her. SH

It was a joy being Adrienne's DP when she pledged Gamma Iota Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. at Hampton University. She was a beauty both internally and externally who let her life do the singing. While she will be missed, her loving memories will be cherished. Patricia Larkins Hicks, Columbus, OH

My dear Soror and line sister of the "Fine 29" is in my heart and sweet memories. We first met in "SPUR" in the summer of 1969 at Hampton (Institute) University and thus began a lasting and swee connection. My heart breaks that you're no longer with us yet believing you're in Perfect Peace, Perfect Health and Perfect Love is divine solace. Rest On, Dear "A", Rest On. Peace and Comfort to the Family. Rest in peace, Sugar Doll- our families have been locked together for five generations, since our great-grandmother Maggie helped to raise your Nannie Bell, c.1910. Love and friendship lasts forever, when nurtured. We will miss your smiling face! Ruthie

RIP my friend forever. To Adrienne's family. I share in the loss of our beloved "Sugar", i too will miss her much. I will always have fond memories of the friendship we establish. We shopped, traveled to the west coast and drove through the dessert trying to beat the heat. Adrienne was behind the wheel and i kept saying you need to slow down. She was active and involve while living in Rochester, NY. She was loved and respected. We played cards and ate chicken wings many late evenings. Her career varied. Human Resource, and Education but in the end she followed her passion. Ultimately, she enjoyed making things and jewelry was it. She was a special artist that made one of a kind jewelry. Her talent will be missed.
