Obituary For Mr. Sammie Sams

Mr. Sammie Sams entered into rest Monday, March 22, 2021.

AUGUSTA, Georgia—Mr. Sammie Sams was born December 12, 1949 in Millen, Georgia, to the late Charlie and Rutha Sams.

He departed his earthly life on March 22, 2021.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings: Bessie, Henry Franklin, James, Wiliford and Charlie Sams lll.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his beloved daughter, Joey LaBell Tennyson- daughter Gregory Marquez Middleton- oldest grandson Markia Danyell Middleton- granddaughter Joey Marke Middleton- grandson Kody Bell- great grandson ; brothers, Sheridan President, Robert (Eloise) Sams, Willie (Gwendolyn) Sams, Leroy Sams; sisters, Betty Williams and Josephine Jones.

Public viewing will be Friday, March 26, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the mortuary.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 12:00 noon at Portersville Missionary Baptist Church, 3452 Middleground Road, Waynesboro, Georgia 30830. *Services will not be lived streamed.
