Obituary For Ms. Elizabeth Ann Lingel Kasting

Elizabeth Ann Lingel Kasting Elizabeth Ann Lingel Kasting, beloved wife of the late John R. Kasting, Jr., passed away on March 20, 2021, at the age of 86, in Rock Hill, SC.

Born in Buffalo, NY to the late Donald and Laura Heitman Lingel, she was also preceded in death by her brother James M. Lingel and sister Carolyn L. Lingel. She is survived by her dear children, Susan K. Rodgers (Michael)of Rock Hill, SC, Gretchen K. Foster (Cory) of Scottsbluff, NE, Rev. Robert J. Kasting (Kelly) of Port Jefferson Station, NY, and Karen M. Kasting of Rock Hill, SC; her five grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Andrew, Joshua and Rebekah Kasting , Natalie Rodgers, and Sarah Rodgers; and great grandchildren Brantley and Rory Kasting, Kevin, and Gemma Whitley. Also surviving is her sister Helene L. Bly (Doug)of Rockville, MD and many dear nieces and nephews.

She was a loving sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

The family extends their gratitude to Kindred Hospice for their care of our mother.

A memorial service has been planned for May 29, 2021 at Crossroads Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Kenmore.
