Wesley Mackenzie Byrum age 62 of Denver, North Carolina transitioned on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at The Citadel of Myers Park, Charlotte, North Carolina.

He was born in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina on November 21, 1958 to the late Dowd Wesley Byrum, Jr. and Lizzie Octavia Byrum.

He graduated from West Charlotte High School, he was a self employed handy man. Wesley was a member of University Park Baptist Church.

He was very quiet, loved music and cooking. he was a gentle giant.

He leaves memories in the hearts of his wife, Anissa Stewart Byrum, a brother, Dwain Wyte (Anita) Byrum and a sister, Trudy (Michael) Stallworth all of Charlotte, NC.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
