Bragg, NC; two daughters, Jasmine Murrell, Atlanta, GA and Chloe Knight-Murrell, Columbia, SC; his father, Kenneth Shaw Murrell of Beaufort, NC; one brother, Shaw Murrell, Beaufort, NC; two grandchildren.
