Willie Ola Pinkney Perry was born February 3, 1935 in Center Hill, Florida as a lone twin to the late Newbie Pinkney and Pauline Robinson. Willie Ola was affectionately known as Lo. She was reared with the love and support of her maternal grandparents Plummer Lee and Annie Mae Hicks. She attended the Sumter County Public School System.
Willie Ola moved to and settled in Western Palm Beach County as a young woman. With her desire to provide for her family, she worked numerous migrant jobs and Denny’s. In her later (senior)years, she volunteered as a foster grandmother in the School District of Palm Beach County.
Willie Ola heard and obeyed the Shepherd’s voice in the late 1970s. She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior and became a faithful member and a diligent worker for God’s Kingdom under the pastoral guidance of Superintendent Clarence Brown. Mother Perry proclaimed the need for Salvation according to John 3:16 to those (family, friends, coworkers, and strangers) she came in contact with and lived the Romans 12:1 life of a believer in Jesus.
On Sunday, March 28, 2021, just after 2pm in Lakeside Medical Center, our God called his servant Willie Ola Perry to rest from the labors of this present world. Willie Ola was preceded in death by her parents, Newbie Pinkney and Pauline Robinson; her eldest brother and sister, Roy Gene Pinkney and Rosetta Pinkney; her oldest daughter, Erma Lee Royals, and her youngest son; Andre Maurice Waters.
