Lottie B. Wright Orr was born on January 14, 1929 to the late E.K. Wright and the late Alice Blake Wright. A loyal and devoted deaconess and a member of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church for many years. On Monday evening, March 29, 2021, the Lord gently whispered in her ears, “child it is time for you to come home.” Being the faithful and dutiful Christian, she harkened to the voice of her Lord and Savior and bid us farewell. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Orr, Sr.; one sister, Earnestine Kier; her brother, Nathaniel “Labby Wright; and brothers-in law, Lester Kier and Calvin Patterson.

Lottie B. leaves to cherish her love and memories, four children: Curtis Orr, Jr., Calvin (Marilyn) Beverly (Warren) Lee, Linda Jean (Michael) Brown. Seven grandchildren, Ten great grandchildren, her sister, Ora Lee “Steve” Patterson, and sister-in-law Bennie Ruth Wright, brother-in-law Alfonso Greer, special friends Shirley Diggs and Carrie Brown, many special nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of extended family and friends. Graveside service for Lottie B. Orr will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 11:00 A. M. at Mt. Vienna Church Cemetery Rev. George Blunt will officiate.
