Maggie Jean Lucas was born in New York City on Feb. 15, 1953 to John Lucas and Anne Lucas. She was one of three children. Maggie attended high school and college in New York City and graduated from CUNY with a bachelors degree.

She loved shopping, cooking and enjoyed listening to music.

On March 16, 2021 Maggie was called home to be with the Lord. She leaves behind her grandson Lucas, her granddaughter Lashawn, her great grands Khloe, Ava, Ermias, and Ariel, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
