Obituary For Dorothy Mae Johnson Batts

Dorothy Mae Johnson Batts,83, of New Bern died Monday, March 29, 2021 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

Viewing hours are 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM Saturday at Oscar's Mortuary.

Her service is 2:00 PM, Monday, April 5, 2021 at New Bern Memorial Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Phillip E. Batts of the home; three daughters, Cheri Hunter, Newberry, SC, Ann B. Daniels, Myrtle Beach, SC and Cyndi Batts, Virginia Beach, VA; one son, Phillip M. Batts, New Bern; four grandchildren; one brother, William Hyman, Silver Spring, MD.

Masks are required. Chairs are limited, please bring a chair.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Carolina East Foundation at CarolinaEastHealth.com in memory of Mrs. Dorothy Batts for the Community Paramedic Program.
