Obituary For Mr. John Lee Watson

Age 41, John Lee Watson, Jr. was born on June 4, 1979 to the union of the late John Watson and Dorothy Watson Coleman in Mobile, AL. He attended Blount High School and worked as a truck driver for many years. He received Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mt. Zion Baptist Church #2 of Trinity Gardens. John loved his kids and family as well as traveling. He was preceded in death by his father, sister ā€“ Patricia Bradley, and many family members. He leaves to cherish his loving memories a loving and devoted Mother and Stepfather, Dorothy Watson and Edmon Coleman; Three loving Children, Jaimya Gibbs, John Jr., and Jayceon Watson; Stepdaughter, Brianna Kitt; Four Sisters, one devoted, Joyce Davis, Wau Weece Watson, Lillie Mirl Watson McGee, and Shoneda Watson; Two devoted Uncles, Calvin (Lā€™ Taya) and Charles (Rosemary) Davis; Three aunts, One devoted Gloria Morrissette, Adella Longmire, and Katherine Davis; A devoted Fiancee, Landara Johnson; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, Four devoted, McAuthor Blackmon, Vanessa Brooks, Cleon Morrissette, Jr. and Zachary Davis, Sr.; other relatives and many, many friends three devoted Scooby, Brian, and Freddy. The Visitation will be held Saturday April 10, 2021 at 10:00 am from the Calvary Baptist Church. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will follow immediately to the Gethsemane North Cemetery with Rev William Carey Officiating.

I am terribly pained and words are no help in expressing the sorrow I feel at this particular moment. No one can prepare you for a loss such as this. It comes like a swift wind. Take comfort in knowing that Lee is resting in the arms of our Lord. I'm sorry that Lee and I did not get to know each other. If I could do anything to relieve your grief I would, but I can't. Know I will think about you and pray that God will help you through this devastated time. May He hold each and everyone of you UP when you can't stand alone. Lee, I hope you've found paradise with all of your departed loved ones, especially, your father and sister. You will be forever loved, missed and never forgotten.
