Obituary For Julia Mae Wiley

Julia Mae Wiley was born December 14, 1948 in Lexington, Georgia to Adolphus Wiley and Ida Mae Hollingsworth. Over the years as a child, Julia’s parents moved to Fort Pierce, FL where she received her education at Lincoln Park High School. While attending, she became a majorette. After graduating high school, Julia went on to pursue a career in nursing becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant. Julia would always talk about how good God is and read her bible on a daily basis. She loved all of her family and prayed for them on a daily basis.

On March 18, 2021, at Lawnwood regional Medical Center, Julia transitioned into a more peaceful world. She was preceded in death by her parents Adolphus Wiley and Ida Mae Hollingsworth; brother, Albert “A.D.” Moore.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Freddie Kelly and Larry Wiley; daughter, Tanika Stewart; sisters, Shirley Wiley, Jacqueline Moore Davis, and Ida Wiley Thompson; brothers, James(Kleandra)Wiley, Willie Wiley, Adolphus(Ladine)Wiley, Harold(Tommie)Wiley; grandchildren, Salariya, Christariya, Samariya, and Larry Jr.; aunt, Fannie Darden; uncle, English Lewis; godmother, Elsie Salter; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends who will miss her dearly.

Public viewing for Julia Mae Wiley will take place on Friday, April 2, 2021 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL at 1:00pm. Burial will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Although many venues have opened and the restrictions of COVID 19 have been relaxed, we here at Stone Brothers Funeral Homes are still enforcing the guidelines set forth by the CDC and FDOH to protect our families and our staff. We ask that you respect this, as it could very well save your life. We also ask that you acknowledge and execute the 6 ft. social distancing guidelines as well.
