Vernia Mitchell Bell

Knoxville - Age 66 of Knoxville passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She worked at the Foundary for 17 years where she was famous for her Tomato Basil.

She was preceded in death by Mother, Mattie Mitchell, Father, Garfield Mitchell, Sr., Brothers, Lance Mitchell, Leon Mitchell, and Garfield Mitchell, Jr.

She is survived by Son, Sam Bell III, Daughers, LeKesha Bell(John John Montgomery) Veronica Bell (James Thompson Sr.) Nyesha Cooper, 2 Grandchildren, James Thompson Jr, and Kelijah Bell, Brother, Clarence Mitchell Sr, Sisters, Lorene Young, Rosa Meade, devoted nephew, Forrest Young; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was a Granny and friend to everyone around her.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 9, 2021, from 4:30-5:00 p.m at the Unity Mortuary Chapel with the Celebration of Life service to begin at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Nicolsha Scott of Hope City Christian Church, Knoxville, TN officiating. Unity Mortuary is honored to serve the Bell Family.
