Hello I am so sorry for the family lost. I worked for Fred at Hunt County Juvenile detention center and he gave me the chance I needed to become a police officer because of him I'm and who I am. God Bless You and Rest in Peace. Officer L. Jimmerson

Our sympathies to the family: Ecclesiastes 3:12 tells us that it is good to rejoice and to do good during one’s life; so as you celebrate Fred’s life, please remember that Our Heavenly Father authorized Jesus Christ to tell us that many now dead will live again (John 5:21, John 11:24-25). Also 1 Peter 5:7 says Almighty God cares for you and provides hope and comfort. C. and M. Louis

I served with Fred on the Texas Juvenile Detention Association board of directors for a number of years. Big Fred was a true child advocate; a passion we shared. He was an encourager. His smile was contagious and lit up the room. Fred often served as the front man for our social events; he was a natural in that element. His spirit was easy and approachable. To his wife and children- please know that you were his joy! He often beamed as he showed pictures of you on his phone. He was so proud of his baby girls! I was blessed to know Fred and share a small part of his life. I pray the Holy Spirit brings you great comfort in your time of loss. Rest easy Big Fred! Love and prayers; Neil Eddins
