Obituary For Ladonna Haynes

Miss Ladonna Machell Haynes, 55, of Hattiesburg, Mississippi passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

She is the daughter of the late Ellis and Vivian Haynes. She was a member of Hardy Street Baptist Church where she worked in the nursery, was a hostess and taught Sunday School.

Miss Haynes was an Administrator Assistant at William Carey University, Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She loved reading, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, April 5, 2021 at Johnson Funeral Home at 1pm. Interment will be in Rose Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Silver Creek, Mississippi.

She is survived by: sister, Cathy Griffin of Silver Creek, MS.

Visitation will be Monday, April 5, 2021 at Johnson Funeral Home, 10am-1pm.

Machell and I only worked together for a short amount of time, but in that time she went out of her way to make me feel welcomed and to provide any help that I needed. I miss our almost daily chats and her beautiful smile. She always shared her faith and her love for her family. She is dearly missed.
