Robert Samuel Payton, 82, of Philadelphia, Mississippi, passed on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at his home. Funeral Service will be Friday, April 9, 2021, at 11 a.m., from Beck Funeral Home Chapel, Louisville. Visitation will be Thursday, from 4 until 6 p.m., from the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Webster Cemetery, Louisville, MS. Beck Funeral Home of Louisville in charge of arrangements.

You taught me how to drive. You would come after u hit off at the post office n take me to rosedale park. You had a black ford ( I think) n would practice wit me ♥️♥️♥️I love u uncle Robert. Tell my momma I miss her

Uncle Robert you babysat me as a child you taught me to play chess. We listened to old reel to reel "real music". Motorcycle rides. Telling me about antics of my mother as a child and some of your adventures. You truly had many different relationships with all us kids. I would ask you a million questions and you would always give me those wonderful insightful Uncle Robert answers. You have been a rock for me throughout my life and you are terribly missed. I hated the circumstances of our last time together which was Angela's passing. But I was so glad to have spent sometime with you.thank you for all the guidance and all the love. You truly lived life to the fullest still gone to soon from this world. Until I see you again I love you Sue
