Obituary For Betty Jean Elliott

On Friday, April 2, 2021, Ms. Betty Jean Elliott, left behind the cares of this mortal world to reside in God's eternal peace at her residence. Betty Jean lived in the Jonesville community of Yemassee. She was a daughter of the late Rev. Edward Smalls, Sr. and the late Betty Chisolm Smalls. A graduate of the Walterboro High School, she lived most of her life in her native home. She was a warm friendly person that enjoyed the pleasure of conversation and laughter. Her essence of love will always be embraced by her children, grandchildren, siblings, and a host of caring family.

Visitation: Tuesday, April 6, 2021, 4-7pm Chapel of Young Funeral Home.

Graveside service: Wednesday, April 7, 2021, 12 noon in the Mt. Nebo Church Cemetery, 22 Jonesville Avenue, Yemassee, SC.

All services will be conducted in compliance with CDC Health Guidelines subsequent to the COVID-19 pandemic (Mask and social distance)
