The clock of life is whind but once and where it stops noone knows. Time stood still for Ms. Jannette Elliott-Williams, 74, on Sunday, April 4th at her residence in Yemassee. She was a daughter of the late Jesse Elliott and Mary Chisolm Elliott. A honor graduate of the Colleton High School, Class of 1964, she matriculated with various institutions of higher learning including the University of SC. Jannette was a dear friend and colleague of mine in the mid-80's when I worked at the Low-country Council of Governments. I admired and loved her, and thought of her often over the years, even though we didn't keep in touch. I had just resolved to get back in touch with her when I discovered that she had died. I am so sorry. My heart is with all of her beloved ones in this loss. She was a terrific person, advocate, and role model.

Dear Family, Although we are far away in Arizona, Nette and I texted often and shared our childhood memories. Her death is a shock to me because I had no idea of any illness of any situation that would take life. She was special to us and will remember how smart, kind and loving she was. Her sense of unity in the family kept us in touch with one another.
