It is with mixed emotions that I write to the family of Ms Hattie Moore. I first of all send love to the family, especially my two adopted sisters Tracy and Ronda. Your mother will be missed, but as we Christians know those who die in this life who belong to Christ only pass to a better life. So she suffers no more. As for us here, we still love and miss her. Draw your comfort from the Holy Spirit and from our love. We are with you and if you need us just call us. We are praying with you and for you and love you dearly. Leonard & Dennia James.

Our deepest condolences to you and the family! Sister Hattie was a strong force as usher of Faith Temple Church who was all for decency and order. Her presence will truly be missed but she will never be forgotten. I used to make sure I gave her a hug and kiss after every service to let her know she was loved and appreciated. May she rest peacefully now! Praying for the family and friends. Betty Johnson-Brent and Fred Brent

To Traci and Hattie's entire family, Two words best describe Sister Hattie Moore: Honest and Faithful. You always knew where you stood with her. She spoke the truth, didn't mince words and lived by the Truth that she professed. In the early years of Faith Temple Church, you knew that when you walked through the doors you could count on a greeting from Sister Hattie, my mom Josephine Polk and Sister Mary Spencer. Those three worked well together, prayed on Friday nights together and rejoiced and shouted on Sunday mornings at the back of the church near the doors (always ready at their post as ushers). The last time I talked to Hattie was several weeks ago by phone. She was excited about a great-grandchild that's due in May. She had such a peace and confidence in Christ and talked lovingly about her children and how well Traci and her son-in-law were treating her. Family, please be comforted in knowing that if you have accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior, you will see Sister Hattie again! That's a promise from God. Love, Sheila Bouldin including Greg and DJ.
