Mr. Richard Pope, age 73, of 934 Baltimore Road, Warrenton, NC departed this life on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Maria Parham Health in Henderson, North Carolina.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 1:00PM in the chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Service in Warrenton, North Carolina. The Reverend Edward Harrington will officiate and burial will follow in the Greenwood Baptist Church Cemetery in Warrenton, NC.

He Leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Christine Pope of the home, three sisters, Bennie Pope, Geraldine Pope, and Dorothy Campbell (James); five sisters in-law, Helen Hargrove, Loretta Burchette, Carolyn Greene (Felix) all of Warrenton, North Carolina, Edith Hunter of Baltimore, Maryland and Viola Pope of Macon, North Carolina; nine brothers inlaw, Johnnie Hargrove, Charles Hargrove, Thurman Hargrove, Leonard Hargrove, Bobby Hargrove , Kennedy Hargrove all of Warrenton, North Carolina, and Hugh Davis of Louisburg, North Carolina; along with a host of nieces, nephew, cousin, other relatives and friends.

He may be viewed on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 1:00pm until 5:00pm at Boyd & Royster Funeral Services in Warrenton, NC .

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the funeral service is limited to 50 people in attendance at the homegoing celebration. Please pay your respects during the viewing and visitation on the day prior to funeral service. Mask will be required and social distancing will be enforced.
