Obituary For Mrs. Lillie Pratt

Mrs. Lillie Carolyn Owens Pratt departed this life on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at WFBH High Point Medical Center. She was born on May 20, 1952, a daughter of the late William Henry Owens and Annie Lillian Champion Owens. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Winnie Lee Spencer, Nettie Mae Ellerbe, and Johnsie Elizabeth Kirby: and two brothers, James Edward Owens, and Robert David Owens.

Lillie graduated from Bowman Senior High School and was a self-employed seamstress for 52 years. She was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Edward Eugene Pratt. To this union, two children were born: Christopher Eugene Pratt and Eric Darnell Pratt.

She leaves to cherish precious memories, her husband, Edward Eugene Pratt; two sons, Christopher Eugene Pratt, and Eric Darnell Pratt; six grandchildren; Wayne Horn, Wayne Horn, Jr., Erica Horn, Desmond Moore, Quinntel Cobbs and Christian Pratt; four sisters, Betty Lou Bittle, Celest Bennett, Essie Lynn Marshall and Inez Wells; two brothers, Isaac Owens and Henry Arthur Owens; a special friend, Teresa Hinkle; and a host of nieces, nephews cousins, other relatives and friends whom she loved dearly.

A private graveside service will be held Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Carolina Biblical Gardens. Mrs. Pratt may be viewed on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Final arrangements are entrusted to Phillips Funeral Service, Inc.
