Tallahassee - Bessie M. Hampton, 93, passed peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, March 31,2021 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

Funeral service will be 12:00 PM, Friday, April 9, 2021 at Tallahassee National Cemetery (5015 Apalachee Parkway). Viewing will be from 4pm to 6pm, Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Strong and Jones Funeral Home.

Survivors include two daughters, Kathryn L Miller-Walker and Derrinita L Manual; son, John F Hampton; two granddaughters, two grandsons, three great-grandsons, brother, Rev. C.W. Woodson; sister, Mamie Woodson; two sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.
