Mrs. Perry Levery, 92, of Phenix City, AL passed Sunday, April 4, 2021 in Columbus, GA.

Graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. EST, Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Lakeview Memory Gardens. Visitation is Friday, April 9, 2021 from 1-5 p.m. EST according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc.

Mrs. Perry Lee Harpe Levery was born September 28, 1928 in Phenix City, Alabama to John and Paralee Harper who both preceded her in death. She resided in Phenix City, Alabama her entire life.

The Book of life closed on her April 4, 2021 at Columbus Hospice in Columbus, Georgia. She left this earth to join her heavens father and loved ones who have gone on before her.

Mrs. Levery attended Central Girard Elementary School and South Girard High School. She worked at Ft. Benning, Georgia and retired after 28 years.

Mrs. Levery was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. James Levery, Sr.; her daughter, JoAnn N. Levery; one brother, Alvie Harper; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Rose Pickett, Mrs. Willie Lee Lawrence and Emma Lue Spencer.

Mr. Levery accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and joined Franchise Missionary Baptist Church where she was a faithful member and she served in the W.W.T.K. Club.

She leaves to cherish his memories one son, James Levery, Jr. of Phenix City, Alabama; five granddaughters, LaToya (Toney) Cooper, Jamisha (Cedric) Clark, Tiffani Clark, Jennifer Levery and Faith Levery; one grandson, Terrence Levery; four great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, church family and friends.
